As usual, lifes been busy and something had to givein this case, regular website updates. Its not web guru Diannes fault, its all mine. But heres whats going on. There are three books coming in August that my wonderful wife and writing partner Marsheila (Marcy) Rockwell and I contributed to. The first is Mech: Age of Steel, which has already been released in a Kindle version, but should be available any moment in paperback. Our story in this anthology is called A Single Feather, and its a good one. Heres the cover art.

Next up is Vampyror the long version, Buffy the Vampire Slayer Vampyr Hardcover Ruled Journal. So yeah, stick with Vampyr. Heres what the publisher says: Started for one of the new Potential Slayers and left behind after the Battle at the Hellmouth, this journal includes a section of text copied from the original Slayer Handbook along with illustrations, annotations, and notes from Buffy, Giles, Xander, and Willow. Atmospheric, engrossing, and designed with a dynamic in-universe aesthetic, the blank, lined pages of this journal invite readers to add their own story to the legacy of the Slayer. With sturdy construction and sewn binding, this journal lies flat, and the 192 ruled, acid-free pages of high-quality heavy stock paper take both pen and pencil nicely to invite a flow of inspiration. Includes a ribbon placeholder, elastic closure, and 7.5 x 4.5-inch back pocket, perfect for holding photographs and mementos. We wrote the journal entries, annotations, and notes, and suggested illustrationsbut we havent seen the final product, so itll be a surprise to us.

Next up is the Cutting Block Single Slices anthology, which contains our short story The Lottons Show (previously published on its own, as the lead story in the Single Slices series from Farolight Publishing. Their page about it is here.

And in October, Insight Editions will release a new novel by Marcy and me called Mafia III: Plain of Jars. Its an authorized prequel to the bestselling Mafia III video game, telling the story of the games protagonist Lincoln Clay during his Vietnam years. More details when we have them, but heres the cover art.

Upcoming appearances include the Tucson Comic-Con and TusCon 44, both in Tucson, Arizona, and both in early November. Lots going on, so stay tuned, and thanks for reading!
